Privacy policy

Purpose and operator

Command Centre is operated by Rajasekhar V.K. for personal work and life organisation. This policy describes its Google Calendar connection and related storage. Contact: rajasekhar.vk@gmail.com.

Google data accessed and used

After permission is granted, the application accesses calendar events, including identifiers, titles, dates, times, locations, descriptions and event status. It uses this information to reconcile meetings and scheduled work with the private Command Centre workbook. It creates, updates and removes calendar entries as required by that workflow. Unlinked calendar events are held for review before import.

The requested Google permission is calendar.events. The application does not request Gmail, Contacts or Google Drive access. Journal entries are not exported to Google Calendar by this connection.

Storage and service providers

The private workbook and supporting sync records are stored on the operator’s Mac and in the configured Dropbox storage. Google Calendar holds the calendar entries sent to it. The iPhone companion exchanges selected records and confirmations through Dropbox and keeps local app data on the device. Google authorisation credentials are stored separately on the Mac and are not included in these public information pages.

Google, Dropbox and the website hosting provider process information needed to deliver their respective services under their own policies. Hosting providers may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to serve and secure these public pages.

Sharing and limited use

Command Centre does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train general-purpose AI or machine-learning models. Google data is used for the calendar and scheduling features described here. It is not published on this information website.

Command Centre’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Protection

Google API communication uses HTTPS. The Command Centre interface and companion have access controls; phone exchange records are signed to check their integrity. A signature is not encryption. Device security, account permissions and the security controls of the configured service providers also protect stored data.

Retention, disconnection and deletion

Workbook records, calendar mappings and correction history are retained for ongoing work and audit purposes. Backup copies may retain earlier records. Disconnecting Google stops further access but does not automatically delete existing workbook records, backups or Google Calendar entries.

The account holder can revoke access at Google Account connections. To remove locally retained calendar data, credentials or backup copies, contact the operator using the email above. Google Calendar entries can also be deleted directly in Google Calendar.

Changes

This policy will be updated if the calendar connection or its data practices change materially.
